About the pool

The pool is 23 metres long and 9 metres wide. It has a shallow end which is 1m deep and a deeper end of 1.65m. The pool is generally heated in the summer to around 26 degrees Celsius throughout the summer months allowing for comfortable leisure swimming and long swim workouts. In the winter, the heating is turned off and cold water swimming sessions are available. The variable depth of the pool also makes it perfect for both families and lane swimmers alike.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a first-class outdoor swimming facility that makes a positive contribution both to the community, and to the Health and Wellbeing of the residents of Woburn and the surrounding areas. Not only are we committed to improving Health and Wellbeing, but we are also working towards a comprehensive programme in order to get more children and young adults involved with swimming.
